All Americans need to know more about American history. Dr. Betit has made a major contribution in this exceptional book on Black history, White Supremacy, Slavery, Racism, all currently hot topics in America. We need to be educated due to the sad fact that our history books grossly distorted historical facts. It is time to educate ourselves, and thanks to Dr. Betit, we can do this through Collective Amnesia: American Apartheid. The book is well-researched and documented.

I truly hope it reaches into our institutions of higher learning so students learn the whole story at a young enough age. Thank you, Dr. Betit, for writing this timely book.
