Past Presentation at William and Mary’s Lemon Project

I gave a fifteen-minute presentation on the role of US Colored Troops in the Civil War at William and Mary University’s Lemon Project 9th Annual Symposium on Saturday, March 16 at the School of Education in Charlottesville.

The Lemon Project ‘s theme was “Celebrating Legacies, Constructing Futures: Four Hundred Years of Black Community and Culture.”

For more information, go to the University’s website, and search for The Lemon Project. Lemon was one of the university’s many enslaved people.
