After three years of research and writing, plus three and a half months of struggling to obtain copyright permissions for the graphics in the book, Collective Amnesia: American Apartheid, African Americans’ 400 Years in North America, 1619-2019, is finally available at BarnesandNoble.com, Amazon.com and the publisher, Xlibris. In due time it will be available on my website, genebetit.com, as well.
The eBook version retails for $3.99, the paperback costs $23.99, and the hard cover is $34.99. Barnes and Noble and Amazon discount the books ten percent, but you can get the book from my site for $20 for the paperback and $30 hardbound.
I’m excited at the prospect of getting feedback on my labor of love. Remember, you can write a short blurb of your reaction to the book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or my site. If you’re inclined to write a full-out criticism, that would be terrific, too.
